Homemade Christmas Ornaments
"Toy Sleds" Submitted by Lisa Sett of Thousand Oaks, CA
Material:
4 candy canes (in the wrappers) Warm up glue gun. Hold the 4 candy canes together and run a small bead of glue to hold in place. Let cool. Add more glue if needed. Sled should hold together. Sit toy in place to see placement of moss. Remove toy, glue dab of moss in place. Glue greenery facing front and back of sled. Glue toy in place. Add small dabs of white glue on tips of ears and nose. Sprinkle with glitter. A metal Christmas tree hook goes right under the ribbon or
scarf on toys neck. GREAT for filling in gaps in the tree. Use the branch
below hooked branch for support. They will look like they are sledding right
off the tree.
