Frugal Recipes Readers' Recipes "Poor Man's Candy" - Peanut
Butter/Potato Candy My Grandmother used to call this Poor Man's Candy.
Ingredients: 1 large cooked potato Directions: Cook potato, mash it up, then start adding powdered sugar until it forms dough-like consistency. Roll out flat, as if making a pie crust. Spread on peanut butter and roll up in a log shape, refrigerate until cold, then slice. this a very sweet candy so a lot goes along way. P.S. Thanks for your tips on saving money! * * *
