Thrifty Money-Saving Tips Surprising
Pan
Scrubber
Don't throw out those used dryer
sheets! Save them in a container under your sink.
Whenever you have a pan that would normally need to be scrubbed, fill it with a little water and place a used dryer sheet in the water, let sit. The dryer sheet will "soften" the food that is caked to the sides and bottom of the pan in no time. Then, instead of dirtying your washcloth, you can use the dryer sheet to gently wipe at the food that still remains and it will easily fall into the water. This has saved me HOURS and HOURS of pot and pan scrubbing! * * * February 2006 Tip Rewards Runner Up!!!
