Family Photos
My money saving
tip is about sending out photos of the family at Christmas time. More...
I usually begin thinking of our family photo for our Christmas cards in October. In our area of the country (Knoxville, Illinois) our small town participates in a multi-county Scenic drive which features many crafters, food vendors, etc. Our town really decorates the town hall, gazebo, etc with fall flowers, pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, etc. My next door neighbor's family and our family usually pick an evening after the event and each use our digital camera and take our family photos there (I will take photos of her family with her camera, and she with mine). The photos are cheap to print at our neighborhood Wal-Mart and we have no sitting fee or pressure to purchase larger sizes of the photos. And if we need more there is no extra re-order fee. And best of all, it's cheap and fun. We will usually end
up having a wiener roast at either of our houses to celebrate! * * *
