Thrifty Money-Saving Tips Homemade
Warmers
I have a tip that saves money in several ways.
First, to help with aches and pains, I put white rice in a cotton sock, tie the end and heat in the microwave. The heat feels great on sore muscles. Second, I have sewn tubes out of Christmas material and filled these with rice and they have made inexpensive and very popular Christmas presents. These have gone on to save money a third way in that when the house is chilly in the morning in the early days of fall, but I don't want to turn the furnace on just yet, or when I feel a little chilled in the winter, I heat up a rice sock and put it around my neck. Often this warms me up enough that I don't need to heat up the entire house. * * * October 2007 Tip Rewards Winner!!!
