I use a product for washing my face that comes in a tube. This is a Mary Kay product and it's rather expensive.

When I thought it was gone and I needed more one day, I cut off the bottom of the tube and cut a slit up the side only to discover at least another weeks worth of precious cleansing cream located all around the opening that I couldn't squeeze out! Now, when I think the tube is empty and before I open a new one, I always do this and get at least another week out of each tube! This method can probably be used for any product that you have to squeeze out of a tube. Editor's Note: After cutting a plastic tube open you may want to place the entire tube in a zip plastic bag so the contents do not dry out. * * * January 2007 Tip Rewards Runner Up!!!
